Dr. Kate Greenwell is a Senior Research Fellow and Health Psychologist in the Primary Care Research Centre at the University of Southampton's Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating behavioral interventions for chronic conditions like eczema, diabetes, and Parkinson's disease, with a particular emphasis on digital health solutions and supporting carers/families. She leads projects such as the ISupport-PD digital intervention for Parkinson's carers and has expertise in the Person-Based Approach to intervention design. Kate holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham and is a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS and a Registered Health Psychologist (HCPC). She actively supervises PhD students and teaches courses on qualitative research, intervention development, and digital health.
