Kate Galloway is a Professor of Law and Deputy Dean (Learning and Teaching) at the School of Law, RMIT University. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a focus on curriculum design and legal education innovation, aiming to create ethical, justice-oriented graduates ready to address global challenges.

Research Interests:
Kate specializes in property law (excluding intellectual property) and native title/land rights, where she explores intersections between private/public law and constitutionalism. Her work also addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals: Climate Action (13), Quality Education (4), Gender Equality (5), and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (16).
Notable Roles & Contributions:
She established the Legal Education Associate Deans Network, served as Chair/Deputy Chair of the Australasian Law Academics Association, and has been an editor-in-chief of the Legal Education Review. Kate has contributed to equity, diversity, and inclusion policy development in academic and legal contexts.
Professional Recognition:
As a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and recipient of the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to law, education, and community, Kate's influence extends beyond academia. She is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
