Dr. Kate-Ellen Elliott is an Adjunct Senior Researcher at the Wicking Dementia Research Education Centre, University of Tasmania. Her work focuses on clinical and health psychology, particularly in dementia care and aged care workforce resilience. Key research interests include occupational communion, workforce well-being, and improving service delivery for older adults.
Her research has explored the impact of the pandemic on aged care workers, developed evidence-based interventions like Work4Dementia, and validated tools such as the Dementia Knowledge Assessment Scale (DKAS). She has secured grants totaling over $900K, including NHMRC funding for resilience-building initiatives in the dementia care sector.
