Kate Duffy is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Education and Society at the University of Sunderland, actively engaged in educational research and practice. Her work focuses on relational pedagogy, action research, and the moral dimensions of teaching and learning across various educational contexts.
Her research interests center on vulnerability in educational practice, teacher-student relationships, and the implementation of positive psychology in schools. She explores how relational dynamics impact teaching effectiveness and student development, particularly through participatory action research methodologies that bridge theory and practice. Her work emphasizes ethical considerations in education and the cultivation of moral imagination among educators.
