Kate Dannessa

Dr. Kate Dannessa is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She holds a BFA in Industrial Design from RISD and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from NYU. Her practice focuses on sculptural objects, furniture, and experimental design methods. She is also a designer at Altimeter Design Group, working on public installations, speculative artifacts, and workshop development.
