Kate Dadio is an Assistant Professor of Athletic Training and an athletic trainer at Springfield College. She holds a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) from the University of New Haven (2024), a Master of Healthcare Administration (2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (2019) from the University of Connecticut.

Dadio’s research focuses on Burnout and Compassion Fatigue among athletic trainers, particularly in managing catastrophic injuries. Her work explores the psychological and emotional challenges faced by professionals in high-pressure sports environments.
At Springfield College, she works with the women's soccer and wrestling teams and teaches ATRN 678: Integrative Experience. She is certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) and affiliated with the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association, and American College of Sports Medicine.
Her career includes roles as a graduate assistant at the University of New Haven, head athletic trainer at East Lyme High School, and two years at Connecticut College supporting field hockey, basketball, hockey, and women’s lacrosse teams. She has presented on topics such as burnout and catastrophic injury management at Hartford Healthcare events in 2024.
