Kate Cooper is a Sessional Lecturer II in the Department of Historical and Cultural Studies at the University of Toronto. She holds a PhD in Classical Archaeology from King’s College London and has taught at institutions including the University of Cambridge and York University. Her research focuses on ancient Mediterranean material culture, particularly early Greek pottery and the intersection of archaeology with museum practices. She currently serves as a Research Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), where she leads a SSHRC-funded project analyzing ancient Greek coins.
