Kate Anderson serves as a Temporary Instructor in the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance at Mansfield University, teaching applied saxophone, and concurrently holds the position of Director of Bands at Wyoming Seminary Lower School. An internationally recognized saxophonist, she has performed across the United States, Latin America, and Europe with iconic artists spanning jazz, classical, and popular genres.

Anderson's artistic practice bridges jazz improvisation and classical saxophone mastery, demonstrated through collaborations with legends like Phil Woods and Arturo Sandoval alongside classical ensembles. Her work emphasizes expanding saxophone repertoire in wind ensembles and big band contexts, with particular focus on cross-genre experimentation and pedagogical innovation in woodwind performance.
