Roles & Affiliations: Associate Professor of Mathematics at Ramapo College of New Jersey, School of Theoretical and Applied Science. Formerly known as Dr. Katarzyna Potocka, she has held this position since at least 2004. Serves as Co-director of the New Jersey Undergraduate Mathematics Competition (NJUMC) since 2007 and advisor for the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society.
Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics from Lehigh University (2004), advised by Donald M. Davis. Thesis: "The number of summands in v₁-periodic homotopy groups of SU(n)".
Research Interests: Specializes in Algebraic Topology with focus on homotopy groups and periodic phenomena. Actively engaged in undergraduate mathematics education and competition design, particularly through NJUMC which she co-founded.
