Prof. Dr. Kasım İnce is a prominent academic in Ottoman architectural history, affiliated with Pamukkale University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences since 1997. Holding the academic rank of Professor since 2012, he specializes in Ottoman-era buildings, cultural preservation, and Islamic art.

His research focuses on Ottoman mosques, civil architecture, and regional building techniques. He has supervised 7 master's and doctoral theses, including studies on Muğla mosques and Aizanoi's Turkish-period residential architecture. His projects include directorship of the 2016 Murad Pasha Foundation Charter Study and 2013-2015 Muğla architectural surveys. Publications span 2017 analyses of Emirdağ public buildings to foundational studies on 19th-century Ottoman mosques. Though no specific awards are documented, his work appears in journals like Journal of Turkish Studies and edited volumes such as Türkler (2002). Active in national/international conferences since 1996, he has contributed to preservation dialogues and institutional panels on cultural heritage.
