Kashfia Mahin

Kashfia Mahin is a Researcher at the Institute for Particle Technology within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Technical University of Braunschweig. She has been working as a Research Associate at the iPAT since 2021, focusing on battery electrode modeling and simulation projects.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Chemical and Energy Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg (2018-2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Braunschweig (2011-2015).

Ms. Mahin's research interests center around battery technology and computational fluid dynamics, with specific focus on modeling and simulation of battery electrodes. Her work involves optimizing cost models and managing them on the iPat server. She previously completed her Master's thesis on tunnel kiln analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics with Ansys Fluent.

Her current research projects include "SiKo" and "Prozell Kostenmodell," where she applies her expertise in modeling and simulation of battery electrodes.
