Dr. Karol E. Watson is a Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She holds multiple leadership roles, including Director of the UCLA Women’s Cardiovascular Health Center, the UCLA-Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Health Program, and the UCLA Fellowship Program in Cardiovascular Diseases. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease prevention and women's heart health, with principal investigator roles in NIH-funded studies like the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study and Multi-ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA).
