Karl Täuscher

Karl Täuscher is Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Alliance Manchester Business School. His research examines how new ventures establish legitimacy and grow in platform markets, particularly focusing on strategic communication, narrative development, and resource acquisition in digital marketplaces.

His work combines quantitative methods and experimental approaches to analyze entrepreneurial framing strategies and their impact on venture outcomes. Current projects investigate linguistic framing effectiveness across market categories and the role of strategic narratives in crowdfunding success. Täuscher has received recognition including the Outstanding Developmental Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management Review.
