Karl Johnson

Karl Johnson is a Lecturer and Programme Leader for BSc Public Sociology at Queen Margaret University. His work bridges academic and public discourse through cultural sociology, higher education access, and community engagement. Johnson's research examines Shetland's social dynamics (particularly Up Helly Aa gender inequality), widening participation in Scottish HE, and sociological analysis of popular culture.
