Karl Erickson

Karl Erickson is an Associate Professor of Digital Art at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. His work explores intersections of language, transformative experiences, environmentalism, and cross-species communication through animations, videos, and audio/visual performances.

• MFA in Studio Art, California Institute of the Arts
• BFA in Sculpture, Wayne State University

His research focuses on creating alternative languages via video collage, motion capture, and plant bioelectricity, blending educational programming with absurdist narratives and experimental film techniques.
