Dr. ir. Karin van der Wiel is a Senior Researcher in Earth Surface Hydrology at Utrecht University's College of Geosciences, Department of Physical Geography. Her expertise focuses on climate change and climate modeling within the Pathways to Sustainability (PtS) research framework. She also holds a secondary position as a Senior Researcher at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) and serves on the board of the Netherlands Meteorological Society (NVBM).
