Karin Sjödin

Karin Sjödin is a University Lecturer in Physical Education at Örebro University's Department of Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences. She is also a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Physical Education for Teacher Educators and serves as Program Manager for the Physical Education Teacher Education Program. Her research focuses on human-nature relationships, particularly in educational contexts, including outdoor life in teacher training and environmental moral learning.

Research affiliations include the ESERGO - Environmental and Sustainability Education Research Group and the ReShape - Social Science Sports Research Group. She teaches courses in sports didactics, outdoor activities, and orienteering. Current research projects explore holistic assessment in school physical education and moral relations in nature encounters. Completed projects include studies on nature encounters and environmental moral learning.
