Karin Hugelius is a Senior Lecturer at Örebro University’s Department of Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences. She specializes in disaster medicine, crisis management, and prehospital emergency care, with a clinical role as an ambulance nurse in Region Örebro County. Her international experience spans 20+ years with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), UN, EU, and the Swedish Red Cross in crisis and disaster response.
