Lisa Kurland is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Örebro University, Sweden, with a focus on identifying critically ill patients in emergency settings and improving emergency care processes. She earned her PhD in Medical Sciences from Uppsala University (2002) with research on pharmacogenetic studies of antihypertensive treatment. Her work emphasizes sepsis management, prehospital care, ambulance dispatch optimization, and disaster medicine.
