Karen Oakes is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of History at the State University of New York at Oswego. Her research focuses on American architecture, material culture, and women’s studies. She holds an ABD in American Studies from Boston University and a BA from Elmira College.
Her work includes a notable publication in Beacham's Encyclopedia of Social Change: America in the Twentieth Century (2001). She has been recognized with academic honors: Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta.
Karen teaches courses such as U.S. History to 1865, Women in American History, and Introduction to Women’s Studies. She advises students via email预约办公时间.
