Karen Nguyen is a Lecturer in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Education. She has been with the university since 2020.

Research Interests

Nguyen's research focuses on Sign Language Interpreter Field Attrition. She maintains active interpreting practice and promotes evidence-based approaches in healthcare interpreting through professional certifications including BEI-Advanced and QMHI.
