Nouri Marrakchi is a Lecturer in American Sign Language (ASL) in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Education. He holds an M.A. in Teaching American Sign Language and a B.A. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
With teaching experience spanning high schools and colleges across Indiana, Colorado, Washington, Kentucky, and Oregon, he focuses on preparing future ASL interpreters through innovative pedagogical approaches. His work emphasizes practical language acquisition and community engagement within deaf education.
