Dr. Karen Keeshan is a Reader at the University of Glasgow's School of Cancer Sciences, based in the Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre. Her research focuses on paediatric and adult acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) pathogenesis and therapeutic development.
Keeshan's laboratory investigates molecular mechanisms driving leukaemogenesis and potential therapeutic targets. Her position in the Wolfson Wohl Cancer Research Centre facilitates collaboration across Glasgow's cancer research ecosystem, including the CRUK Scotland Institute and Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
