Karen Hiday is an Assistant Lecturer of English at Ball State University, affiliated with the Department of English within the College of Sciences and Humanities. Her teaching focuses on rhetoric and writing (ENGLISH 103) and research methodologies (ENGLISH 104). She has also taught courses at Ivy Tech Community College, including American, British, and World Literature.
Her research interests span British literature of the 16th–17th centuries, ancient literature in translation (particularly religious texts like the Hebrew Bible and New Testament), and Medieval/Renaissance/Reformation studies. She engages in creative writing (long fiction and poetry), some of which has been published and performed locally.
