Dr. Karen Heidenreich is an Instructor of Mathematics at Loras College, where she teaches both on campus and at local high schools. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame (2000), specializing in highest weight representations of infinite-dimensional Lie algebras. Previously, she taught at Grand Valley State University (1997–2006) and currently serves on the STEM committee for the Northeast Iowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America, designing exploratory STEM activities for elementary students.
