Karen Hammerstone is a Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical & Nutritional Sciences at the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, University of Massachusetts Lowell. She teaches courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Applied Biomedical Genetics, and Interprofessional Education. Prior to academia, she worked as a protein chemist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, focusing on protein purification for drug therapeutics.
