Karen Hall

Karen Hall, D.M.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of New England’s College of Dental Medicine. With 28 years in Maine, her career spans military service, private practice, and now academia. She holds a B.S. in Biology and German from Tufts University and a D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Hall’s professional journey includes serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, followed by private dental practice in Kennebunk. Recently transitioning from her solo practice—now led by a UNE graduate—she focuses on mentoring future dentists. Her volunteer work includes roles with the Maine Dental Association, York County Dental Society, Kennebunkport Conservation Committee, and Westover School Board of Governors.

Her research interests are centered on dental education and clinical practice innovation, though no specific publications are listed. She actively engages in community service and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and photography.
