Jeffrey B. Finegold

Jeffrey B. Finegold, D.M.D., is an Associate Clinical Professor and Group Practice Leader at the University of New England's College of Dental Medicine (CDM). He has been a faculty member since the CDM's inaugural class in 2013, transitioning from a 30-year private dental practice in Portland, Maine. Dr. Finegold earned his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (1979) and completed a General Practice Residency at the Brockton V.A. Hospital.

His professional contributions include establishing the dental clinic at the Jewish Home for the Aged (now Cedars) and volunteering as a proctor at Westbrook College's hygiene clinic. Beyond dentistry, he served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Center, including a presidential term from 1987–1989.

Academically, he focuses on clinical dental education, geriatric dental care, and community-based dental practices. His career bridges private practice expertise with academic leadership in dental training programs.
