Karen A. Feste is a Professor at the Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. She has held significant roles including Associate Dean (1988–2000), Budget Director (1997–1999), and founded the Conflict Resolution Institute (1998–2022). She currently directs the International Security master's program (2021–2024) and serves as a campus mentor for the Army Fellows program.

Her recent publications explore themes in international relations, terrorism, and conflict resolution. These include analyses of US foreign policy, superpower interventions, and peace negotiations in the Middle East.

Feste has supervised over 30 Ph.D. dissertations and 50 Masters' theses.
