Kara Dunn serves as a Reference Librarian and Digital Acquisitions Coordinator at Seattle University's Law Library. As an adjunct professor, she teaches Advanced Legal Research. She joined the faculty in 2022.

Her expertise focuses on legal research methodologies, digital resource evaluation, and licensing negotiations for academic libraries. Dunn has held roles including Assistant Inspector General (OEIG, Chicago), law clerk at the Alaska Supreme Court and Washington State Court of Appeals, and legal research roles at Northwestern University and University of Chicago law libraries.
Professional affiliations include the American Association of Law Librarians, Western Pacific Association of Law Librarians, and Law Librarians of Puget Sound.
