Kanaga Dharmananda

Kanaga Dharmananda is an Adjunct Professor at the UWA Law School, The University of Western Australia. He specializes in commercial and international arbitration, resources and energy arbitration, finance and insolvency, long-term contract law, and international investment law. His research focuses on cross-border dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly in Mainland China and other jurisdictions.

His scholarly work includes analyses of arbitration clauses, contractual interpretation, and remedies for breach of long-term contracts. He has contributed to understanding public policy challenges in enforcing foreign awards and reassessing legal remedies for contractual delays.

With 21 research outputs since 2013, his publications span articles in leading journals like Arbitration International and Australian Bar Review, as well as edited books on contract law. He has supervised one academic work.
