Dr. Kambiz Alavian is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Endocrinology at Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on mitochondrial bioenergetics and their role in neurodegenerative diseases, synaptic plasticity, and cancer metabolism. He holds appointments in multiple departments and collaborates widely across disciplines.
