معرفی
Kallol Gupta is Assistant Professor of Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine, developing novel mass spectrometry approaches to study membrane protein complexes. His research bridges biophysics, structural biology, and immunology.
Core research areas include:
- Native mass spectrometry of membrane protein-lipid complexes
- Nanoscale organization of membrane proteins
- Structural mechanisms of antimicrobial proteins
- Development of customizable bilayer systems
Recent technological advances enable direct determination of oligomeric states of membrane proteins in near-native environments. Honors include the ASMS Emerging Investigator Award and Royal Commission Fellowship. Current trainees investigate membrane protein assembly and lipidomics in neuronal health.
