Kai Sandvold Beckwith

Kai Sandvold Beckwith is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research focuses on developing advanced microscopy techniques to study cellular processes, including mechanobiology, host-pathogen interactions, and genome organization. He previously worked as a Researcher at CEMIR (2023-2024), Postdoctoral Coordinator at Ellenberg Group (EMBL Heidelberg, 2019-2023), and Postdoc at Flo Group (NTNU, 2016-2019). He obtained his PhD in Biophysics (2015) and MSc in Bionanotechnology (2011) from NTNU.
