Kae Newcomb is a faculty member in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Saint Louis University-Madrid, where she teaches drawing and engages in interdisciplinary artistic practice. She holds an M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and also earned an M.B.A. and B.S. from Saint Louis University.
Her educational background includes studies at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League of New York, reflecting a deep foundation in visual arts. Her research and practice span Drawing, Painting, Photography, Installation, Artist Books, and Community-Based Art. She is particularly known for her work in art and museum education, having taught at institutions such as MoMA, the Guggenheim Museum, the International Center of Photography, and El Museo del Barrio in New York.
