Prof. Dr. Jörn Fricke is a Professor of Leisure in a Social Context at the Academy for Leisure & Events, Breda University of Applied Sciences. His academic journey includes studies in human geography at the Universities of Trier (Germany) and Utrecht (Netherlands), a PhD in Tourism Management from the University of Kent, and postdoctoral research on experiencescapes and community resilience. His research focuses on resilience-building through leisure experiences, sustainable tourism, and hospitality systems.
