Max Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopyمعرفی
Professor Jörg Rademann holds a faculty position at Free University of Berlin's Institute of Pharmacy within the Department of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy. His research bridges synthetic organic chemistry with biochemical and immunological applications to develop therapeutic compounds and molecular tools.
Research foci include:
- Medicinal Chemistry: Design of protease inhibitors, Toll-like receptor modulators, and phosphopeptide biomimetics
- Chemical Biology: Multivalent ligands for intracellular protein receptors and PDZ domain interaction studies
- Synthetic Innovation: Diversity-oriented rhamnolipid synthesis and chemoenzymatic production of sulfated oligohyaluronans
His program is sustained by active DFG funding, notably a Collaborative Research Center project on hyperfluorinated biomimetics. Past work encompasses immunostimulant characterization, signal transduction modulation via peptide polymers, and protein-ligand crystallization.
Professor Rademann maintains advanced instrumentation including an HPLC-QTOF-MS system acquired through dedicated equipment funding. His research operates within the Institute of Pharmacy framework and leverages national collaborative networks via Transregio and SFB programs for multi-institutional scientific integration.
