معرفی
Justyna Samaszko-Fiertek is a Lecturer affiliated with the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Gdańsk. Her research focuses on the design and application of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for targeted anti-cancer therapy, with a strong emphasis on organic synthesis and bioactive compound development. She also explores the synthesis and characterization of carbohydrate derivatives, antimicrobial agents, and vancomycin analogs to enhance antibiotic efficacy.
- Research Interests: MOFs for drug delivery, organic synthesis of bioactive molecules, carbohydrate chemistry, and structure-activity relationships in antibiotics.
- Laboratory Affiliation: Laboratory of Sugar Chemistry, specializing in carbohydrate-based compound synthesis and analysis.
Her work integrates crystallography, molecular dynamics simulations, and microbiological testing to evaluate compound performance. Recent studies highlight the antimicrobial and anticancer potential of her synthesized compounds, particularly in cancer-targeted therapies using MOF materials.
Dr. Samaszko-Fiertek has published extensively on topics like vancomycin-muramyl interactions, Schiff base chemistry, and microwave-assisted synthesis methods. Her research bridges organic chemistry and medicinal applications, aiming to develop novel therapeutic agents.
