Dr Justine Drakeford is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University within the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences. She holds a PhD in Psychiatry from the University of Birmingham (2006) and a BSc in Biology and Psychology from Keele University. Her academic career includes roles at the University of Keele, Manchester Metropolitan University, and the University of Huddersfield before joining Staffordshire in 2012.

Her work bridges cognitive deficits and clinical conditions, with studies on delusions and recognition memory.
Teaching responsibilities include modules like Cognitive and Biological Determinants of Behaviour and Neuropsychological Disorders, where she serves as Module Leader. She supervises final-year psychology projects, emphasizing hands-on research training.
Professional memberships include Chartered Psychologist (British Psychological Society), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and membership in the British Neuropsychological Society.
