Justin Maxon

Justin Maxon is a Lecturer at the Department of Art & Film in California Polytechnic State University, Humboldt. As a visual storyteller and socially engaged artist, he collaborates with communities tied to his own positionality, prioritizing participant-driven design and ideation. His work critiques free-market capitalism and knowledge authority systems by repositioning societal hierarchies through visual narratives.
