Justin Court

Justin Court is Senior Lecturer in German at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's College of Letters & Science. He teaches German language, literature, and cultural history from the 19th-21st centuries. His research examines Weimar-era war photography and visual representations of violence.

Current work expands his dissertation on First World War photography's role in ideological debates. Publications analyze photographic mediation of historical memory and Holocaust representation limits.
