Junhui Zhang is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Genetics at Yale School of Medicine. He holds appointments in Genetics and collaborates with the Kahle Lab. His research focuses on genetic contributions to congenital heart diseases and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly exploring the role of ciliary dynamics in neuronal connectivity and disease mechanisms. Dr. Zhang earned his MD from Wenzhou Medical College (1983) and an MSc from Shanghai Medical University (1989). He has collaborated with prominent researchers such as Richard Lifton, Kristopher Kahle, and Ellen Hoffman on high-impact studies in genetics and molecular biology.
