Dr. Jung Woo Kim serves as Associate Professor of Voice in the Department of Music at Hope College, Holland, MI, maintaining an active dual career as an academic and professional lyric baritone with performances across the United States, South America, and South Korea.

- B.M. in Voice Performance from Chung-Ang University, Korea
- M.M. and P.D. in Voice Performance from Indiana University at Bloomington
- D.M.A. in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado at Boulder
Dr. Kim's research and performance expertise spans opera, oratorio, and art song traditions, with distinctive specialization in East Asian and Korean repertoire. His scholarly focus integrates vocal pedagogy with performance practice, demonstrated through extensive recitals of Korean art song at international venues and mastery of major operatic roles from Mozart to Puccini, alongside oratorios including Brahms's German Requiem and Handel's Messiah.
