Nicole Asel is an Associate Professor of Music at Colorado State University, where she teaches Applied Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, Art Song Literature, and Freshman Voice Studio. She has performed internationally in operatic, concert, and recital repertoire, including roles in Mahler’s Third Symphony, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, and Händel’s Messiah. She is also involved in innovative projects like The Baby Book Project, featuring Lauren Spavelko’s song cycle Baby Book with Art Song Colorado.

She emphasizes body wellness in teaching, integrating Alexander technique and yogic philosophy.
