Jung-Min Shin is an Adjunct Instructor in Violin at the Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt University, and serves as the Principal Second Violin of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. She brings extensive professional orchestral and chamber music experience to her academic role.

She has received numerous accolades in competitive music, including wins at the Strad Competition, Korean Philharmonic Orchestra Competition, Music Journal Competition, Nanpa Music Competition, and the Indiana University Concerto Competition.
Jung-Min Shin has mentored students through performance instruction and ensemble coaching, though specific advisees are not listed. Her professional journey includes prior roles as Associate Concertmaster of the Evansville Philharmonic and Owensboro Symphony Orchestras, and violinist with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. She was also an Artist in Residence at the University of Evansville as part of the Eykamp String Quartet.
