Dr Jun Chul Kim is a Lecturer in Digital Business at Brunel Business School, specializing in corporate strategies in alliances, outsourcing decisions, and computational big data analytics. With a background in global partnership and sales leadership at a major Asia-Pacific telecom operator, he bridges professional practice and theoretical knowledge in his teaching and research.
- Current PhD candidate in Information Systems at Brunel Business School
- Holds MEng and BEng in Electronic Engineering/Telecommunications from Inha University, South Korea
Research Focus: Governance mechanisms in network contexts, including buyer-supplier networks, blockchain-based platforms, and green data centers. His work explores trust/reputation strategies and sustainability in digital transformation.
Teaching: Leads modules on Global Outsourcing and Social Media, Mobile & Cloud Computing at Level 7, supervises PG dissertations, and mentors Final Year Project students. Office hours available Mondays/Wednesdays 13:00-15:00.
Recent Publications: Highlight trends in pandemic-driven virtualization, data privacy in restaurant contexts, and blockchain governance. Collaborates with Prof Habin Lee and others across interdisciplinary networks.
