Julius Weitzdörfer

Julius Weitzdörfer is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hagen, specializing in East Asian law with a focus on Japanese law. He previously held roles as a Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Research Fellow and Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, and Junior Faculty Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School. His doctoral dissertation, 'Verbraucherkreditregulierung in Japan' (2020), analyzes Japanese credit law reforms based on 15 years of research into organized financial crime.
