Julio Salcedo-Fernandez is a Professor and Director of the Graduate Urban Design Program at the City College of New York (CUNY), part of the Spitzer School of Architecture. He has held roles such as Chair (2014–2019) and Associate Professor at the same institution since 2007. He has also taught at Harvard University, Syracuse University, and other prestigious institutions. His research focuses on urban design, environmental justice, and sustainable development, with notable work exploring urban manufacturing’s role in social equity.
