Fran Leadon serves as Associate Professor and Deputy Chair at the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, City College of New York. A licensed New York architect, he holds an M.Arch from Yale University and B.Des from University of Florida.
His research explores urban history, architectural preservation, and design pedagogy. Publications include the book Broadway: A History of New York City in Thirteen Miles and co-authorship of the AIA Guide to New York City.
Recent articles examine Manhattan's urban development history and innovative architectural pedagogy. Professional experience includes work with Balmori Associates, George Ranalli Architects, and his private practice.
