Juliet Letteney is a Ph.D. student and instructor in the Department of Communication & Journalism at Texas A&M University. Her academic background includes a B.S. in Psychology (2016) and B.A. in Communication Studies (2016), both from Colorado State University, followed by a M.A. in Communication Studies (2022). She currently teaches courses such as COMM 101 and COMM 203, serving as a recitation leader and instructor of record.
Her research focuses on using rhetorical criticism to analyze discursive constructions of race, gender/sex, and nationalism. Central to her work are themes of cultural roles, public memory, and representation, particularly concerning East Asian communities. Her M.A. research examined metaphors for Korean national identity and unification narratives at the North-South Korea Demilitarized Zone.
